This performance was part of a self-initiated solo show. Before the performance I worked in the space for a few days focusing on live sound. I experimented with contact and handheld microphones, as well as my own voice, music associated with textile production and industrial weaving machinery on vinyl records. I had a dub plate record pressed of digital recordings of machines at Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire. David Chatton Barker recorded the sound of the live performance, which was released by Fractal Meat in August 2016.
